Overview

Coalition Technologies is seeking a skilled Front-End Web Developer to join our remote team. This role involves converting design files into responsive, pixel-perfect websites and working with platforms like WordPress. Requirements

• Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.
• A comprehensive grasp of cross-browser compatibility challenges.
• Hands-on experience with media queries and responsive design.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Twitter’s Bootstrap.
• The capability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a highly methodical approach to work.
• Proficiency in PHP/MYSQL and AJAX (preferred).
• Experience with WordPress, BigCommerce, Magento, and Shopify platforms (preferred).
• Outstanding written and verbal English communication skills.
• The adaptability to thrive in a diverse, multicultural setting.
• A strong drive to contribute to a startup environment.
• A dependable home workstation equipped with a fast computer, microphone, speakers, and stable internet and power connections.

Your Duties and Tasks

• Converting intricate layout PSD files into precise, pixel-perfect HTML5/CSS3 templates.
• Developing responsive website designs.
• Constructing websites using WordPress, including the extension and development of plugins and themes.
• Utilizing Photoshop, Illustrator, and Fireworks to produce web-optimized graphics.
• Operating version control systems such as GIT or SVN.
• Meeting demanding deadlines while managing several projects simultaneously.
• Delivering work of superior quality with a sharp focus on detail.

Compensation Information

For candidates in California, New York, Washington, and Colorado, the starting base pay for this role is between $15 and $35 per hour. Final compensation may differ based on factors including prior experience, qualifications, performance on skills assessments, geographic location, and the seniority level of the position offered. Compensation for positions outside these states may fall outside the stated ranges.
