Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is central to our financial operations, overseeing the month-end close, ensuring GAAP compliance, and mentoring finance staff. - A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited institution is mandatory.
- A Master’s degree in accounting/finance or a CPA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of accounting experience is required, ideally within healthcare, a Federally Qualified Health Center, or a non-profit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are required.
- Experience with MIP Fund Accounting software and electronic medical records systems is desirable.
- Must hold a valid California driver’s license, provide proof of auto insurance, and have access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required, subject to approved exemptions.
